Red face This kicks A$$...........Not

JUst got done tonight with suspension overhaul, front and rear. Original springs were worn out real bad. Decided I wanted a higher stance like a 3/4 ton, plus the added benefits of more load handling. I use as a work truck haul rock, lumber etc. you get the picture. Rear springs are fine, good stance nice and stiff, just what I wanted, measures 34 and3/8" from the ground.
The front is another story. Iput the new springs in and it is lower than I expected. It measures out at 31 and1/2". I was thinking I would be close to 34 inches since I put in heavy duty front springs and truck has 350. So I was told I would get a 2" liftfrom the heavy duty big block springs. Didn't happen. Originally I wanted 3/4 ton frontr springs but sales rep said they wouldn't fit. Do I have crappy springs? Can I put 3/4 ton HD up front for the 2" lift I want? All that work over again. It'll go quicker this time. Sorry so long.

BTW its a half ton with 350,2WD, coil spring.

Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know what the 3/4 HD BB springs are rated. I can get a pair of those relatively quickly. Who has the best springs? Can I go to a retailer to pick them up. Don't really want to wait for shipping. Weather is gonna get bad. My garage is a gravel driveway.I could call the tech dept at the place whwere i got these springs but they are no help since the tech guy didn't know much about the spring interchangability.

Talking

The ODDESSY CONTINUES.hahahahahaahah going insane.......Took my truck to Sears to get an alignment today...hahahahahaha. Dropped it off came back an hour and a half later and service counter says they couldn't do it cuz it's been lowered and they don't touch lowered stuff (policy?)The fact is it's not lowered (intentionally)The guy who looked at it says its got new parts on it and he thinks the control arms have been moved back. I did the work myself joints, tie rods springs etc. Everything matched up with the book I followed all the procedures didn't leave anything out parts wise. I've come to the conclusion that I wound up with the wrong set of springs from the store. So that is why it's so low. Any ideas?

I might need someone to cosign me into the asylum because this making me insane. Please help.

Yeah I'm probably gonna hit up another shop, I got to anyway. Someone told me I could use 1 ton springs? that would be overkill wouldn't it? And sears is slowly working itself out of my book now. Thanks for the help.

Thats what I thought. I woke up motivated today so I might be able to get this done with out any problems. Why is there such a difference in spring prices between the vendors on this board? I've seen a pair for 70$ and a pair for $90 and a pair for $115 these prices are for the same set of springs. Maybe different manufacturers? The new ones on the rear are from Flagg.I got them from Chevy Duty. And why are the front ones cheaper than the rear. The front holds more weight over time so the y should be at leastthe same price. I dunno hope it all works out. Thanks
