Rob, it's 6 bolt coil. If I'm not mistaken, 70 was the year that went wider (you can swap in 5 lug axles). The frame on this one is toast. I have another one that I'm cutting up in a few weeks (Gloryhound has first dibbs on the frame). I'll let you know. I'm assuming you're looking for shortbed???

Brian, I picked up a long bed truck that has a bad spot around the coil springs. The rest of the truck isn't that bad. I was thinking of cutting the frame down to a short bed. So if I cut, I might as well use a better frame for the back section. I would need from under the cab, around the front cab mounts, back. If you had a short frame that might due too. This is just going to be a beater truck, so I thought it might be easier just to cut the frame. What is that frame you have? Let me know. I'll pass on the posi, I was looking for 6bolt leaf or 5 bolt coil, thanks.

Rob, the frame I have is a 69 0r 70 shortbed. I have the title/tags too. If you were interested in the rear, I could make it a 5 lug for another $50 (I have a 5 lug 3.08 coil spring rear too). In other words $300 for both. Slide the 5 lug axles in place of the 6 lug axles. Just let me know.

Brian, I just came from looking at a whole truck, it has everything that I need right now. I will get in touch with you if I need anything else. The truck is a 72 short step, body is bad but the frame looks good. 4.11 posi, had to buy it. I'm not telling the wife about it until I bring it home. I might need a place to sleep when she finds out. LOL

Rob, you're the man! Let me know if you need anything else. If you need a place to store it, I have found a place for wayward trucks that wives don't approve of (my shop). She has no idea what's out there........

QKENUF4U, I'm not now, I found a short frame. Brian, I didn't mean to hijack your thread.
