Playing with photoshop, please help
I have been working with photoshop, I figured out how to lower it and shorten the bed, but there is a gray area behind the rear wheelwell, that I cannot figure out how to remove, I tried painting & the healing brush.
Also wanted opinions on what you think about the truck laying frame. Also I have read the thread about painting, but I cannot seem to get this to work. Thanks for the help.

You need to learn how to use layers. I've been using Photoshop professionally for about 12 years and couldn't do 1/2 of what I have done without layers. Layers are kind of like sheets of transparent paper laid on top of each other. You can add layers, mover layers, trash layers, and most of all, add color, images, etc to layers without disturbing the other layers.
If you clip out the body (use a pen tool and make a path), put a copy of it on a layer above your original. Then you can add in the color to fill the gap.

I've been using it professionally and non-professionally for 'bout 5 years. My preferred method is to use anjustment layers for color, and adjust the mask so it only affects the parts of the image I want it to. Layers and masks are your friends.

Right on Farnuckel. What do you do for a profession? I'm an Art Director.

I used to work at a photography studio, doing photo restoration, retouching, and manipulation. I'd fix the photographer's mistakes and stuff. Taking people out of wedding pictures, putting people in, head swaps, opening eyes, etc. Some pretty cool stuff for highschool seniors and things too with different cutouts and backgrounds.
Before that, and after that, photoshopping has been a hobby. I still do paint jobs and mods for my own vehicles in photoshop first. |
