Exclamation New Complete Rear Disc Brake kits!!!! UPDATE WITH PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fatboys69 (Dewayne) and I have put together a complete rear disc brake conversion for the 6-lug '67-'72. Featuring all new rotors, hoses, loaded calipers featuring e-brake and laser cut 3/8 steel brackets. The new disc brake kits are designed as a direct bolt-on replacement and feature new high quality parts including grade 8 hardware and banjo bolts. Also included in the kit will be a full color instructions and a diagram. This is a real kit designed by Truck guys! We have worked on this for months

The kit is designed as a direct replacement and we are finalizing the last stage and should begin taking orders in or around July 23. We also will be working on a 5-lug kit so stay tuned. The price for the complete kit should be around 399.95+shipping and will include everything to compelte the installation. For the board we are going to offer the first 25 kits at 375.00 +shipping, figured we would knock 25.00 for our boys. We will continue to keep you up to date as the kit progresses.

Tell us what you think!

P.S. As soon as we begin selling I will be upgrading my status from Supporter to Vendor. Just wanted to let everyone know!

So it will include calipers, pads, brake hose, etc? Cool beans.

Quick Q, with all the different MS for these trucks, which set up do you have to have? Will this work directly with power disk brakes or drum/power drum brakes only (because it's for the 6 lug trucks?)

Re: New Complete Rear Disc Brake kits!!!! Really low buck, let us know what you think!!!

You will need a disc/disc prop valve. We are tracking down the master cylinders and prop valves right now to offer as options with the kit. We want this to be a pain free experience.

We are both tired of the sucky kits that only have half of what you need and nobody at the company or retailer knows what you are talking about. We want to be a customer based company to help you. I will research this and the available options.

Thumbs up Re: New Complete Rear Disc Brake kits!!!! Really low buck, let us know what you think

Also waiting to see pix of the setup since my rear drums need servicing any way - I might as well wait for a rear disc setup...and do it the right way.

Thanks!

Well, give us about a week and you will have new rear brakes.

We are here for you guys and really tired of paying upwards of 699 for the same kit.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to PM me or Fatboys69.

For those truly interested PM me and I will put you on the lists to contact as soon as we are ready to ship.

One of our main focus points is that we want to have the kit in your hands within 7 days complete and not missing the infamaous back-ordered parts. The right parts-the first time!

Was going to upgrade to bigger drums but for that kinda $ maybe I'll rethink
that.
Since I'm in "the drum brake club" now which front disc conversion
would you rec. ?
My yard waste hauler seems to be turning into a project !

Re: New Complete Rear Disc Brake kits!!!! Really low buck, let us know what you think!!!

Can this be installed by someone who's never touched a rearend ( !!!) before? Do the axles need to be removed?

Sorry if thats a Q, but my only experience with rear axles is swapping them and replacing the brakes.

Re: New Complete Rear Disc Brake kits!!!! Really low buck, let us know what you think!!!

We are going to work on a front kit after these two are finished.

Hey 67 Chevy Redneck. The rear diff cover will need to be removed and the axles pushed in, drop the c-clip, slide the axles out and tear the backing plate and drum brakes apart and toss them. Slide the axles back in and replace the c-clip and then bolt our bracket on. That is the extent of it. It will feature in-depth color photos and my personal phone number for help!

Josh
