Any way to remove/reinstall blazer top by myself?

is there something i can use to aid me to take off and put my top back on by myself?
i'm sure this had been discussed already, i apologize if so.
my dad was here this weekend, we did it together but it was pretty heavy and awkward to lift.
whats the best way to do this solo?

thanks in advance...

I build a system similar to this - http://home.pacbell.net/jls-dls/RemoveTop.html

I can remove and install the top fairly painlessly.

Will your blazer fit into your garage?

I looked into those things a bit. It didn't seem that they were designed to hold enough weight to support a K5 top. I believe there was one that said they had them for Blazers, but it all started to seem a bit too expensive.

Re: Any way to remove/reinstall blazer top by myself?

Taking the hatch off first seems to help with the top not being so heavy at the back!

Get a $50 Harbor Freight winch. Works really well for me.
