Hi, its me again with more questions. I am looking for pics and advice on setting up my 50 Chevy truck for a pro street set up. I would like to see some pics of how you sectioned the rear of your frame for a narrowed rear end and 15 x 14" wheels. I want to keep my rear tires inside the rear fenders, so it looks like I will have to section my frame ( I think ) some to do this. Any pics or advise is greatly appreciated!

my ex father in law did one years ago.. he basicly cut the frame so he could bend it in, then cut it again so he could straighten it out.. narrowed it down great. ran a narrowed 9 in ford under it. ans a big set of mickeys nder it.. frame turned out grea.. but he traded it off before he finished it.. wouldnt mind going back to nc and finding that ol 50 chevy...sorry no pics of it, was about 14 years ago.. basicly he cut triangles in to the frame top and bottom, heated it up and bent it in, then a little ways back did the same thing to bend it to straighten it out. then boxed the frame. and put on a nova sub frame...

Here's a couple pics of my frame. Allthough its a 57 it should give you an idea of what you can do.
It's built from 2"x4" tube narrowed to run 18.5 wide tires. Hope they help

Similar project here on my 66 fleetside. I used a Alston Chassisworks 4link urathane bushed 'street' package. Trucks are easy, just make SURE you start with the entire chassis nice and level (NEVER trust the concrete floor to be level, it's NOT!).

When you're dead, it's only a problem for the people around you, because you don't know you're dead. .....It's kinda the same when your STUPID. I just did my taxes and reviewed my SS statement. Thanks to the current administration it looks like I will only have to work till noon on the day of my funeral.
