WIW 71-72 Manual Throttle Setup - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

don't have pics yet, but have found a manual throttle setup with the knob and "throttle" badge for the dash bezel. it's original to the truck and on the spid.

I was searching out other posts on manual throttles and most of the pics I see are of a metal cable going to the pedal with several brackets, but this one goes through the firewall with a plastic cable and seems to have been mounted on the carb linkage.

I guess I need to get out there and get it and take some pics.

Can't really help you with a $$ figure....
Just for reference.... Only the 67 - 70 trucks had the manual throttle going to the linkage in the engine compartment.. 71 and 72 trucks had it mounted to the bracket underneath the dash.

Here is a couple of pictures..

First one is 67 70...

Second one is 71 72..

I`d ask $75.I see them go for that.I`ve seen $50-$100.To get the label is a plus.
