Electrical Question
I've been having a problem with my heater blowing faster and my headlights getting brighter then flickering back and forth. What could be the problem? A ground, a alternator? Any help would be appreiciated. Thanks...

Travis,
Do you still have the "stock"Voltage regulator?? That sounds as if that is the problem. You may want to check the grounds just the same. And does it happen at a continous RPM, or at varying rpm's? Just the same though, It still sounds like the Voltage regulator is getting ready to take a dump. Even the newer 1 wire alternators have an internal regulator. RON |

It's easy to convert to internal regulated altnernators. I got sick and tired of fiddling around with my regulator so I put in a alternator out of a 77 chevy. I will do the same thing in my Monte when I put it back together. Its just a lot more reliable
