I bought this truck a couple years ago off of my brother (well more like 4 years ago I guess, how time flys!) It was wrecked when I got it and it was rusted out. Here are some pictures for now. I will put up more info later and I have a ton more pictures!

Yea, its been slow progress...

The wheels are off of a 2000 Tahoe limited which are 2WD and 5 lug. They are 16x7.

Looks great, and the wheels are pretty awesome too. Never seen them on one of these trucks before. You're a brave brave person for taking on a project like that. I thought mine was in bad condition but my mind quickly changed when I saw what you started with.

Yea, I stumbled across the wheels on ebay I think and it was a good deal. They fit really well and look really good on there! Yea this truck (to most people anyways) should have really gone to the junkyard or scrap yard, but I saw the potential in it. Though I didn't think it was going to be this much work... haha

By the Way that is my brothers truck in the 4th picture looking through the windshield. Its a 72 C20.

Wow!!! I'm impressed. I am just not used to seeing that much rust and surely would have sent it to the junkyard in the sky.

Haha, thanks Mike!

So I thought I would give some info on the truck. It has a 305 V8 in it with a NV3500 5 speed behind it. There isnt a 350 in the future either with that transmission cause I dont think it would hold up to the power. I converted it to a hydraulic clutch setup along with power disc brakes, and power steering. I converted it to leaf springs simply because I had them and the trailing arms and all of the brackets were rusted out or swelled. The rear is out of an 81 C10 and I put 4:10 gears in it. I have a set of 3:73 gears if I dont like the 4:10 gears. I removed the tank from the cab and I got an aluminum one for under the bed in the rear. I bought the bed off a member on here from maryland. Well thats all for now.

It turns out that I need to sell this. It is not that I dont want to finish it, I just dont have the room for it anymore. And I need the space for other reasons. I have a lot of money in this and i am hoping to get some of it back. Here are some update pictures:

Well I decided to keep it (yea, that was awhile ago) and finish it up this spring (hopefully). I decided on a color choice. I am going to paint it dark gray. The bumpers will be white and the front grill will be white. Now, just to get it there....

Update: Not much has been done to this truck in a long time. It is in storage for now until I get some of my other projects finished. It is safe and dry so its not on my mind too much. I sold the aluminum wheels off it to fine69 awhile back for a checker wagon! I stuck a set of 15x7 inch steelies on it for now. I also got a 327 that was in a parts car I bought awhile back. It is a 210 hp 327 out of a 68 camaro. It ran good when I took it out. I while probably upgrade it with some newer heads to get a little more power out of it. I can't wait to get back into this project!
