Project:Joyce changed from Back on Black
Well time to finally start my own build thread. I am starting out with a 69 SWB fleet. Going to take it down to the frame and use porterbuilt dropmembers front and rear. Going to replace the cab along with motor and trans from a 72 donor truck. I am going to try and post pics as I go. So here goes nothing. As for the title I know that it is a play on some old AC/DC, but my three year old son Dalton said that he wanted to paint the truck black. Having a little trouble with the pics. Will try to get some posted later.

Re: Project: Back in Black
Having trouble posting up the pics. I keep getting a message that says there is a security token missing to inform an administrator. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Project: Back in Black
Well still not able to get the pics up my computer skills are not up to speed. Just a little update on the progress of the truck.
I got the frame to the blaster and back it turned out great. Best $120.00 I have spent in awhile. Got one coat of primer on and ready for the next coat. Started getting in all of the Porterbuilt stuff. Got about 6-8 more boxes coming. Got paint on what came in today. Sorry for the delay on the pics hope to have them up in the next day or so. |

Re: Project: Back in Black
Thanks. The bolt in notch is great. It went with out many problems at all. Nate does a great job with the manufacturing side of things. If u are thinking of notching that is the way to go. Thanks again.
