How Do You.....?????
how do you check the distributor end play, between the distributor shaft and the oil pump shaft??? we want to know how much shim we need between the distributor and intake....
How do we determine this Thanks Jason

Set the distributor in the motor with no gasket. Use a feeler gauge to calculate how much space is available between the two. Meausure the gasket and figure a compressed height. Do some math. Should let you know if clearance is OK or needs to be shimmed.
