Rear end help needed

I have a 67 burb and a 67 shortbed both v8. I might be trading the burb off so I want to take the spool out of it since it's posi and swap it with the ring in my shortbed. Will this work? Same case? Would i have to change the pinion? Thanks fellas.

check and make sure some gears use a bigger size spool and are not interchangeable with spools using a different gear. Change the pinion and no problems with a complete swap or it may be easier just to swap out entire rear. It is a good time to go thru and refresh the one you want to save.

keep on truckin
