I am not aware of anyone that offers them, but you might try:

www.truckandcarshop.com

I just sold the only one I had in my inventory.

If you can source any wrecking yard with any early 60`s GM autos will have one in the column.

Murdoc- Is that light have a fiber cable ? I had a 67 -68 column I bought off E-bay and it had the red back light but the "fiber cable " was cut off. those should work if you can find one.
There is a wrecking yard off Highway 30, at the Notus exit -He is really proud of his stuff but has quite a few untouched treasures left .
Or try Vintage Auto in Mountain Home. I have not been over there for several years but Jim had lots of old stuff then .

The pictured column indicator is a '63-'66 Chevy truck 3-speed Turbo HydraMatic. The indicator, chrome wrap, green bulb, signal harness and column bonnet is factory original and the indicator is quite rare, because there were very few factory 3-speed automatics in this era of trucks.

The overwhelming majority of the '60-'66 Chevy/GMC trucks will have a 2-speed Powerglide indicator (Park R N D L), in lieu of the 3-speed Turbo HydraMatic indicator (P R N D L2 L1).

No fiber cable in the '60-'66 Chevy/GMC automatic column indicators, just a small lamp with a green shade coating.

So LilRed,being that its a rare option what would one expect to pay for one of those if you can find one?

Re: Help!! where can i get one of these?!?!

thanks tony and all the rest for the posts. Ya that turbo-hydramatic pic i added was off an ebay auction earlier this year. The column sold for around $450.00 I would have loved to have bought it myself but thats near how much i paid for my entire truck

bubba, i know of the yard there off of hwy 30. your right, that guy thinks his stuff is gold. ive bought stuff from him before, hes drunk almost everytime i go out there. If you catch him on a good day he gives some good deals.....but i still miss Hopkins yard...

Re: Help!! where can i get one of these?!?!

Just a Powerglide in 63 C10-20-30 according to the 63 Truck Data Book and the Chevrolet Truck Order Form. Parts Book 58-66 light duty shows nothing between 63-65. Most all the parts listed are for 66 C/P20 ( Chevy ) or C/P920 ( GMC ) or 58-62 all HT.

Re: Help!! where can i get one of these?!?!

My truck came with a powerglide when I swapped in a TH350 I replaced the indicator with one off a late 60's or early 70's truck that had all 3 gears. So you can do it without paying a rediculas price. IMO

I don't have a clue, because I hardly ever see them. The chrome lens wrap is interchangeable between the 2-spd & the 3-spd, so the lens is the hard-to-find item, but you may come across one for cheap.

Would the light and bracket not be the same as the powerglide then.

The aren't flat, so it is difficult to fabricate them. I have been working one it. Also, the graphics are not screened, they are routed.
