Measurement needed : How wide is removable top '78 Blazer ??

Could anybody take a couple minutes and measure their Blazer removable top ?? I need the width ( outside edge to outside edge ) from side to side.
The one I have in mind would be a '78 model ( '73 to '91 ?? )
I don't have one to measure, and I would appreciate anyone's help on this.
I'm considering a "customized" adaptation to create a "half-top" using this '78 model year for the back enclosure.......... attached to a '72 front section.
