anyone knows this 4 speed transmission????

this is on my 89 cheyenne its a 4 speed truck

ive done my research and didnt find anything

get a picture of the pan. the shape will tell you what it is

In an 89 it should be 3 + a creeper gear right?

Manual transmission won't have a pan, the 3 speed with creeper is a cast iron case, I thought it might be a late model NP833 with an aluminum case, but those are side shift transmissions, that looks like a top shift. It has a removable bellhousing, so it isn't a NV3500, certainly not a 3550, both of those are 5 speeds.

I don't know what it is. Where is reverse? left and up, or right and down?

maybe hard to find, but there should be a metal tag or stamped numbers on it somewhere. See if you can get the numbers and go from there.
