Oil capacity?

I put a Moroso 7qt. pan on my 350. Its a newer style block with one piece rear main. I dont have the correct dip-stick for this block yet. My question is this. Does the motor now take 8qts. to fill (with filter) or does Moroso take the filter into consideration when they advertise it as a 7qt. pan?

It will "HOLD" 7qts + almost a quart in the filter.
