Well, they're not exactly GM trucks, but my dad has just gotten a similar good deal. He has to re-assemble this yokel's Ford 9N tractor engine (he took it apart because it "didn't run right" and now doesn't know where all the parts go). In exchange, dad gets an unkown year Honda Trail 90 (runs), and two Cub Cadet lawnmowers...one is your standard old-style w/ a 44" deck, the other is an industrial unit...bigger (60"?) deck. Both are older, and are perfectly operational. It's a good thing my dad went down to Daytona for a week...my mom didn't share his happiness over the new acquisitions .

Hey, that's a really awesome deal.

I'm going to get an awesome deal like that too (even though I think my deal's better :p .) My dad's friend found a 1979 K10 4x4 with about 67,000 original miles (see my signature) and in really good shape in another close small town. The guy that owns it is a truck driver driver and won't be back until around Easter. He just wants to get it out of his garage, so he is going to basically give it to me, but we're going to pay 100 dollars for it (for tax purposes .) I just gotta wait until Easter... only about 42 days now!

Congrats on your nice find!

-Chris
