Early Classic Enterprises Lowereing kit.
If you saw my post last night you know I just lowered my 69 4/6" yesterday. I wante to post a better daylight picture and thell my experience.
I chose the Early Classic rear air suspension kit for several reasons. 1) I wanted a 6' drop. 2) I still wanted the ability to haul and tow. 3) It was a complete kit. 4) They had install illustrations on thir website. As this was the first time I lowered any thing that really helped. On the front I used their 2.5" drop spindles and their 1.5" drop springs. Everything came with very complete instructions making it a fairly easy job. While I havent driven much until I get an alignment, my first impressions a very good. It seemd a bit stiffer, but may be due to the new shocks that don't bounce like the old ones. Thanks, Dennis P.S. I promise I'll quite posting pictures of my truck for a while.

I like the stance you got from the combo. Love the white and I think your's is probably the nicest one I have seen with the late model stepbed.

Truck looks great and Early classic is a great place to do business with. I do have a question though, I noticed the gas filler door on the bed side. Where did you mount your tank?

Thanks for the nice comments. The wheels are 15x8 and the tires are 255/60/15 all the way around. The future may hold 18's for my truck later, but for the meantime I'm going to get these polished as the clear coat is starting to peel a little.
cheyenneman, The tank is mounted in the rear between the frame rails. I'm not sure the specifics as it was done that way when I bought it. It does make for a long filler tube and I have to be careful at the station, if the rear is slightly above the gas door it takes forever to fill up. Thanks, Dennis |
