I'm going to be headed down the same path soon, and like you, I've never done it either! Good luck!

Looks pretty good so far. I'd be happy to say I did the work, when it looks like that. Be proud of what you did for the first time.

Wow that took a long time to load!

That motor looks alot like mine!I have an performer RPM and 600 cfm edelbrock electric choke. It looks like you have the same.Or something every similar. Is that a noisey geardrive.I my self don't like all the noise. But to each his own.

You have done an awesome job.Keep up the good work.

What are the specs on the cam?Or is it stock?

so far

Well so far, its been a long road, i am pushing for the end of June for a car/truck show, under construction class.

I went with a Cam mild RV type, carb, intake matched set from Edelbrok, Pete Jackson noisey Geardrive, instead for timing chain.
The hardest think i am doing is converting it from Manual to Power steering, comming across many issues, with pulleys, water pump, brackets, and parts., but almost got that licked!!!! I replaced both inner and outer fenders due to body rot from leaves etc.
I still have a new grill and insert to install and bed wood and rails to put in, but not going to do that till paint time

I have to say for those going to jump in to this, do your research, and Label way. make drawings, take pictures and or Video. so you see where stuff goes and how to put it back.

Well I will keep all updated as i go....
