Question for those who have Vintage Air or Old Air Products etc.

I was wondering about if you are using an underdash unit for heat and ac can you completely shave the cowl on these trucks? or does it still draw in air from the cowl? thanks everyone!

The Vintage Air Gen II compac unit I am using only recirculates cabin air so the cowl venting is not necessary with that particular unit. I am going with it to have a smooth firewall except for the hoses.

The Hotrodair unit I have does not require anything but the hoses going through the wall.
