I'm about to acquire a pretty clean '59 Fleetside. Has anybody heard of using a '62 Corvette clip in a truck like this? If so, are there any downfalls? I'm not opposed to cutting it off and using a Camaro clip instead if I have to. Is that necessary? Thanks!

A 62 Corvette crossmember would be going backwards on one of these trucks as it is basically the same crossmember and suspension as 49/54 Chevrolet Sedans ran.

Most of the kits that use Corvette suspension use C-4 Suspension. Check the thread on the kit Porterbuilt is coming out with for your truck using C-10 truck pieces.

The Camaro Subframe swaps are probably the least expensive way to go but you can figure on a couple hundred dollars to the cost because most will need to be rebuilt by now.

The '62 corvette clip is not unique to the corvette. It's the same clip used throughout the 50's in the chevy sedans. It's very old technology. I would think a Camaro clip might serve you better.

Also too narrow between the towers for a Task force truck. The C-1 Corvettes and the 49/54 Chevy cars have a frame similar in width to the AD trucks but the Task force frame is several inches wider at the axle center line.
