bucket seats

please post some pics of how you installed bucket seats, and the frame you built for the seat. i need all the ideas i can get.

Here are mine. I think from a 87 Nissan of some sort.
I made my own mounting frame.

I removed the head rests and the plan is to have them recovered in black leather.

The mini van/ small suv seats usually work better. The lean backs on most car seats lean back too far when they are in their normal position and take up too much room.

99 Silverado LS buckets. Drill out a couple of rivits and 1/8 x 1 x2 strap and a couple of welds. Uses the same front mounting holes plus some additions. As stated, they won't go back very far but they are very comfortable and without the headreasts, the top doesn't intrude into the back window, and even though they are big, comfy seats with arm rests, there is room for a small console in the center. I've lost my ambition for a few weeks, but hopefully can post some more complete photos in a few weeks.
