'72 Door Woodgrain Insert Perfection

These are the ones Golden State Pickup Parts produced for only a short while. It's a mystery surrounded by rumors why they stopped, but I bought these when they came out. They weren't cheap then and they aren't cheap now. I have decided, after a whole lot of consideration,to let these go. I'm just not into the whole show quality thing any more, nor the truck has to have it all thing, either. I actually prefer the panels w/o the inserts. So,here they are for sale. Mint,flawless,perfect.........$500 + shipping

These are the real deal. Good as N.O.S. and better than any re-done job out there.

Tim, You are right ! Impossible to re-do. I've compared my NOS set to the Golden State panels I have and the quality is certainly equal. Mike.

Did Chevy make a Super Duper??? I know I've seen C/60 pooper scoopers, but never a Cheyenne Super pooper scooper. (Joke intended? Ok,see the laugh sign? C'mon!)

On a serious note...these would be right at home in any show quality 1972 Cheyenne,Cheyenne Super,Sierra,or Sierra Grande. These are the missing link in the evolution of driver 72 to mint example. They are the holy grail of 72ism. They're the icing on your 72 cake. They're...ok,I'll quit.

We all know rare doesn't always mean desirable. Well, these are both and they are right here.

Re: '72 Door Woodgrain Insert Perfection

Curious question: Is the wood grain color/tint the same for both a GMC and Chevy? These are well worth your asking price.

Yes,the same parts were used for both Chevy and GMC. I originally bought these for a Cheyenne Super and ended up with the Sierra, but decided I like the scroll better and it matches the seat.

Super nice pieces Tim. Wish I still had my 72 Super, they'd be on the way to N.C.

I hear ya. I wish I still had the '72 K/20 Cheyenne Super Custom Camper I bought these for. I still have the '72 K2500 Sierra Custom Camper, but will never restore it to be worthy of these fine pieces,I have the ones that came in it that I removed. Although, they will go on it if they don't sell.
