Is there anyone still selling the billet radio insertion plates? If not I will make a run of 25 if there is interest. Cost should be about where they were from the other guys. Let me know if there is any interest.

I also want to say that I am not in any way wanting to step on someone else's feet if they are being made. I have done a few searches lately and it seems as if whoever was making them has stopped. I need to get three more for myself so I opened up the AutoCad program and put one together for being cut on the cnc machine. My cnc machine is probably not the best for this project so I have sent the drawings over to the local cnc shop to get a quote. If there is interest then I will get a vendor subscription and fill a few orders.

Here is the CAD drawing I did to have the prototype cut on the CNC machine. To test for fit I have an extra dash that was cut out of a 67-72 truck. So after a few tweaks to the drawing I printed and cut outthe template for fit. Next step is i will send the CAD file to the machine shop Monday morning for them to cut a prototype. Once I have the prototype I will post a picture of it installed onto the dash with a single DIN radio.

As for price point it looks like it will be where the others were on the site, I will have to verify that Monday, but it looks promising from what the machine shop has told me. Now I am working on a prototype for doing all the knobs on the dash in billet to match up with the radio bezel. These will be made to look like the stock knobs....images to follow soon.

We are getting there...currently at 17 including myself. Also should have the knobs finished up in CAD and on to the machine shop for pricing.
