R4 Compressor Question
 I'm about to wrap up the serpentine conversion on my truck. The A/C compressor (GM R4) has a double connector for the clutch. Is one side the "hot" side and the other a ground? Does it matter which is which? Thanks for the tips!

Yes and No. You are correct, on side is hot and the other ground. No coils do not care which way the power flows. However, most every parts store should carry a repair pig-tail. I would go get one rather than just using blade connectors.

To add to that, the ground doesn't need to be anything fancy; it normally just goes under one of the compressor mounting bolts.

Thanks guys, I just happen to have a connector housing and some Packard 56 female connectors in my toolbox. I'll make one up in the morning.
