Upcoming Auction

http://www.nydailynews.com/autos/sal...icle-1.1392856

Has anyone noticed this? In the text you can click on the list. There is a PDF file with a list of all vehicles. If you check out the auctioneers sight there is a NOS '71-72 grill surround and pictures of new hub caps, wheel covers etc.

Re: Upcoming Auction

For what it is worth ...... I have a friend who is helping with this Auction. They have spent the last two weeks cutting down trees and moving these cars out of the trees where they have been setting for years. A lot of the cars are very very rusty from sinking into the dirt. Floor pans , frames etc. There is a bunch of brand new stuff with 4-5 or 6 miles on them. There is maybe 40 cars left with radiators ......thieves have hit them hard. A bunch of tailgates are missing off of the new trucks as well. I think most of the pictures posted have been of the good stuff. It will definitely be a once in a lifetime type of deal for sure tho .

Edit : I haven't personally seen the cars ..... !

Re: Upcoming Auction

This is not a flame but this is at least the fifth time this has been posted here. Ive seen it on other boards and have had a half dozen folks email me videos, links etc. Given all the publicity, I imagine that tiny Pierce Nebraska is going to look like Woodstock on the weekend of the auction, and that Jay Leno and a bunch of Saudi princes will buy all the good stuff by phone for top dollar.

That said, that 58 sure would be nice...
