Clips that hold fender splash shields in

On my 66 there are two pieces of metal with rubber stapled to them that connect with these little twist clips to hold them perpendicular to the fender. You see the metal pieces when you open your door and you see the rubber stapled to them.

Does anyone know where you can find them? I tried searching here and google and haven't found them, checked a few common vendors' websites, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

I bought those and they are not the same, they are smaller. might work if you drilled new smaller holes.

It at least helps to see what they're correctly called now, now i can search around!

Mine are pretty small already...crazy those would be even smaller. Also, that shows enough for two fenders but i recall mine had two panels held with those type clips, so you'd need 6 per fender if i remember right.

Literally 30 seconds too late, just ordered them from classic, wanted to get it done before heading back out to the garage to do some easy stuff today.

If the classic ones are too small, i'll get a hold of 456, thank you for the tip!

Re: Clips that hold fender splash shields in

They worked grey, just put them in, squeeze the head and the bottom opened up and held very snug.
