Complete Cluster

Ok guy's here is a chance to get the best of the best. This is 100% Chevy truck cluster. No it's not perfect but... You are getting a completely redone by member TBONE1964 stock chevy dash with Tach, speed warning, clock, and all the other working gauges. All gauges are Chevy parts no aftermarkets. The cluster was sent to TBONE1964 to have all new decals installed on the Tach, speedo.
This cluster is 100% working GM stuff. I collected all the parts myself over the past 20 years and it was in my truck up until last summer. I want to be up front about this because it's a lot of money to spend but if you buy it you know what you have.
1 issue and I think I have it fixed. The speed warning plastic gear that the cable attached to was broke on the speedo. TBONE1964 said he thought he had it fixed but it broke again the first time I tried it. Not his fault by no means it's plastic, so what I did was drill and ran a all threaded rod to join the 2 peices and so far it seems to be holding together. This is the only thing I can say that is are was wrong with it. So anyway the big question...how much! I think for what I have it's worth a price of $850.00 + shipping, LMC has the tach dash for $600.00 something so this to me is a bargin.
The cluster is a nice peice but it's not perfect nor is it a orignal cluster so don't talk about what it should be, it's what it is and that's a nice working all GM parts with the stamps on the gauges to prove it. It will have the factory wiring for the tach and buzzer with the buzzer not being the orignal buzzer but a Chevy car seat belt buzzer. The clock wiring isn't included but all it is, is a hot and a ground. You can contact me here if interested.

Re: Complete Cluster

Good luck with the sale Andy. It is a niece piece and I can say that first hand. I wish someone would find some speed warning parts in the stash somewhere. I am working on another one currently that also needs a gear. I am happy that you were able to get it going. It is touchy when you are working on some of this stuff when the parts are so hard to find.

Sent you a PM on how I fixed it. So it may help you out. Thanks again. I got busy putting it back together and listing it and forgot to PM you. It does have to be set right also. It starts at 25MPH and goes up if you set it where it goes below that it comes off the gear and I think that's what broke it to begin with the needle gear is a 3/4 gear so you have to get it center of the other one for it to work.
I think it's a fair price for what it is.

Re: Complete Cluster

Is that a OEM clock where the vacuum gauge usually is found? I have never seen a clock there before! Anyone who knows please tell me! A clock would be a much more useful option than the Vacuum gauge with is very short movement.

Talking Re: Complete Cluster

The clock if you read the orignal post I said came out of a later model truck. it's a GM quarts clock and it does work. Is it orignal no as stated also. Yes it's more useful than a air brake vacum gauge that tells you nothing while driving except you have vacum which if you didn't the truck wouldn't run!

Wink Re: Complete Cluster

OK some one needs this! Just need to make a offer. These don't show up that often and when they do most are never complete. I want to help someone out that understands these dashes ar not the everyday dash. If you know your trucks then you should know the price is as good as it can be. This isn't a LMC dash.
The clock is a nice touch I think for this setup. It works and is much more useful than a vacum gauge.
Vacum gauges weren't a option on 1/2 tons either.
