Danbury Mint 1972 Super Cheyenne S/Box

This is one of the Danbury Mints older models being released in the late 90's. and I find the detail on this model quite accurate. They made a quite a few derivatives of this model with a lot of them being NFL Teams themed tail gate party trucks. They also made a Spanish Gold and White like the one in my pics but I missed getting it. Pardon the photo quality as I took theses with my Sony Cybershot. I am posting twice because of picture limit.

Re: Danbury Mint 1972 Super Cheyenne S/Box

Yeah,Danbury Mint does a great job on all their replicas (Franklin Mint, too). As it should be,too, considering they cost over $100. The only thing I don't like (always something with me,right?) are the blackwalls. I think they fell short there for representing these trucks as we knew them. Back in the day it seemed a more deluxe car had wheel covers with whitewalls or the lesser optioned ones would have hub caps with blackwalls...hence the term "poverty caps".
Oh,and those hood hinges are totally wrong
