Re: Power steering gear

Are you referring to the rag joint? I think if that is what you want you might try Bench Works. They are a steering box rebuilder. I had my 1972 Blazer box done over 20 years ago and it is still great. They should sell a quality rag joint for it. The phone # is 480-946-3992

Re: Power steering gear

Most of the parts stores can get that coupler. You do have to be careful. If the box has been swapped to a later one, there is a difference.

Re: Power steering gear

Cool thank you guys. what happened was, my old gearbox was leaking, so i took the core to penny pinchers and got a new rebuilt box, everything fits, even the pitman arm, however, the input shaft was too big for the rag joint i already had. so i didn't know where to get the full assembly, even the brackets for both sides. i'll call them and hopefully i have some luck!

Re: Power steering gear

I've seen rag joint rebuild kits in the Help! sections. If that isn't available you can get a new rag joint from rockauto.com.
