They make led lights you can use for tail or tail/stop lights. I got this photo from Speedway Auto.

I bought the LED turn signals from classicparts.com. They seem to be high quality.

Re: What to put in the bed holes

Just personal but I don't like anything, I like the "utilitarian" look even if it's a modernized hot rod or what ever.

If it were anything though, it would be lights as unfortunately people need to stare at them when they are behind you.

Using the light OrrieG said but a clear lens, I'm using them as reverse lights instead of turn or brake lights on my 49.

Re: What to put in the bed holes

I plugged mine with pipe caps. I am the only one that I know of that has done this, and I get a lot of compliments on it from strangers. however, no one here ever commented on them good or bad, so I have to assume I am alone in thinking they are way cool.

The paper wasps did a good job of filling in mine for me, as well as the underside of the fenders.

You could also use the chrome snap in clips electricians use for blocking panel box and j box holes, if the size is right.

I have a trailer made from my dad's old '55 F100 out back and the rails are always full of wasp nests.

Re: What to put in the bed holes

We have lots of metal fence and plastic pipe around and always check before moving, any movement detected and the 25' raid spray comes out. I found some in the hinge pocket of my Chevelle last time I gave in the two week drive around the block. I hate hornets and wasps, just evil. Am ok with bees, they help grow our garden. Am allergic to both.

Re: What to put in the bed holes

I like the idea of those OrrieG but a little expensive. I may make something similar in the future, maybe with some black neoprene. I've found a couple of these for now
