Too Cool Not to Post

I know it's not in our 67-72 category

Steve McQueen's "Camper Special" is coming up for auction.

If my bank would allow it I'd be in...

Re: Too Cool Not to Post

Wonder what that'll bring. Any guesses? I wouldn't know where to start for the truck, then add the McQueen factor. $130K ? More?
Regardless- Very cool. Thanks for posting.

Re: Too Cool Not to Post

From what I've read they threw the bone over 11 weeks ago. Still not available. 130K sounds about right. I'd buy it if I was rich. I'd use it for camp/fish as well. Very cool set-up and great conversation.

Re: Too Cool Not to Post

It is amazing what some people are willing to pay for anything related to a celebrity. The sellers are laughing all the way to the bank about it. 😏

I don't get it either. I used to be star struck as a child, but now i'm not interested in autographs, memorabilia, or something connected to a celebrity. I'm not going to idolize some other human.

Ah come on, it's Steve McQueen. What's more cool than that? I get your meaning though.
