Re: side glass

Simple way would be to get 47 50 doors and swap them out. to convert the windows you need to cut out the piece of metal that is right under the wing window after you remove the wing window assembly.

This is a door like yours with the wing assembly removed.

This is a 47/50 door with the glass removed.

One "have to have" for the swap is the metal channel that the glass channel runs in at the front of the doors.

Chevs of the 40's has those new and maybe another vendor or two but a lot of vendors don't show them in the catalogs and they are usually missing from doors you find in the wrecking yards.

Re: side glass

My doors have already been chopped by previous owner,so using another set of doors probably would just make more work for me.I can make the channel that I need.Do I need to make the channel that goes on the glass inside the door longer?
