Angry Shorty

So, this will be my first here, I've lurked for a long time, retired about 4-5 years ago, we sold " Ole 96" this summer, a 96 Ford 250 with about 275,000 miles on it, 7.3 coal burner, used it as a farm truck.

As if we don't have too many retirement projects, we bought a 1979 GMC step side, Shorty" as we named it.

Have no idea what we are doing, haven't worked on cars since they took the points out.

We'll try to post pictures here, if it doesn't, we will try again

Re: Shorty

You know one of the good things we do down here is grow wood, hard wood.

we looked at all the bed kits and the cheaped we found was like $300.00 for Balsa wood.

Well, we wheeled over to the lumber mill and this is what we got for $35.65, mind you, it's rough sawed, 6" wide and an 1" thick, but we have a lot of time to get this done, just saying.
