Blazer glass dating

Sitting in my garage looking at the giant mess I have to organize from my big move from NY to DE, and noticing the soft ray glass my Blazer has. All cool, until I noticed the passenger quarter glass has a different marking on the glass. All glass, right down to the vent windows, on the truck have the "DOT 15 M75" marking below the" Soft-Ray" safety flo-lite" marking.
My question is, can All my glass be original except for the pass quarter panel glass?

Re: Blazer glass dating

The LOF glass was original equipment, if that's what you're asking. It's hard to tell if it was originally installed in your truck, as glass came from two primary sources, PPG and LOF, and came in different batches. DOT15 indicates the manufacturer (LOF, Toledo, Ohio plant) and M75 is the DOT design number.

Here is a link to the date codes for LOF ( source: Camaro Research Group)
http://www.camaros.org/glass.shtml#LOF

I'm guessing the dating system was the same for trucks so it looks like your window is dated: June of 1969 or June 1982.

Re: Blazer glass dating

Thanks minnz, the truck was built in 9/69, so the June of 69 was probably correct. Good info, thanks again for the link
