That one did not last long, dammit...

Went and picked this up Friday evening. My guys were all over it, saying we should keep it and make a real shop truck out of it instead of that short bed I drive. Well, money talks. Sold it to a board member here Sunday morning and am getting ready to deliver it right now.

One is all i really need at a time. The new owner had a nice set up. Pulled in, backed up and unloaded it. Lots of room,, and I like lots of room. I also left a snake with them that was along for the ride.

Yes, it was me! I bought it! And it looks to be a really good truck. Best part is I put a couple of gallons in the gas tank, and drove it around the lot a few times. Goes good, stops not so well, but it cranks every time I hit the key! It was good to finally meet you, Fred. Thanks again for bringing it over, but you forgot the best picture (tailgate)

I thought he would be long gone. He rode with me in the passenger floorboard pulling it out of the field we got it from. Wait, maybe this was ONE of his friends.

Don't know about that. I got the price I wanted and he seemed good with the price. That is the way we like doing it. Everyone is happy with the deal.

Everyone is happy with the deal. I bought this truck over the phone, with only texted pics to go from. The best part is that the truck is better than described.

I think its refreshing to see two good guys make an honest deal. You see so much of it going the other way these days.

Thank you,, we do what we can. It is easy when the person you are dealing with knows how things are and is on the up and up. It goes both ways.

Nice truck! I love the green color. One of my favorites. But I also have a med. bronze truck that needs a tailgate like the one you just took off. Would it ever be available for sale? (I did not mean to hijack the thread. Just did not know how to get this sort of message to you).

Not sure you'd want this one, the bottom is rusted through in places, and has some pretty big chunks of bondo in it.

I'm not sure, I really want a 68 short wide, and have been looking for the right truck for a long time, but I don't think I have it in me to cut her down. Although, I have a couple of buddies that are rooting me on. "Peer pressure, peer pressure, peer pressure..." For now probably a better set of wheels & tires, maybe a 2/4 drop, and definitely some brake work! They are very soft.
