How do you correctly install '70 C10 EEC gas tank vent lines?

I have a '70 C10 with EEC system (CA truck). All is hooked up correctly to include charcoal canister.

However, on the drivers side of the fuel tank, the tank has two vent lines. One on the filler tube and another nearby on the tank top. On the cab also nearby is the vent line that goes up the cab wall and over the read window to the other side. Should I connect both drivers side tank vent tubes together using a T fitting that will connect to the cab vent line? I currently have the filler tube capped off.

I looked in the original manuals and in all the forums and they only showed connecting the two tank-side tubes together.

Help!! : >)
