Chevelle headers

Anyone have a definitive answer on which Chevelle headers work on our trucks? I have a 350 with ramhorns, which work great except that my exhaust is dual 2.5" and drones like crazy (the taper from 2" to 2.5" is right below the floor). These are the headers I want to use if they fit: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/hed-68296
I know people use the BBC headers all the time, and when I had my 402 in the truck I was going to get those (if it didn't eat cam bearings), but I can't imagine the SBC ones not fitting since it's the same chassis. Anyone know for sure? I'm tearing my truck down for paint and some upgrades over the winter and it's easier to install headers with the body off!

Thanks guys. Have a great Christmas!

Re: Chevelle headers

I'm going with the 68198 hedmans for my BBC based on the discussions here.

One thing I've noticed with both the BBC and SBC hedmans for the early Chevelles is that the driver side tubes to the collector are longer than the passenger side by quite a bit. Like a foot or so.

Anybody know why?

You have any pics of them installed? Want to see how it all fits.

Because of the shift linkage?

Re: Chevelle headers

I don't unfortunately....I can tell you that the collectors lined up perfectly with the frame and nothing below the frame at all....access was good up top as well.
