I need pics of 6 cyl PS brackets!!! - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Anybody got any pics of the setups, I may have a setup but would like to see a pic and make sure.
Also I need to find out the right waterpump and crank pullies for a V8 without AC,
Any help is appreciated, I got all my pullies mixed together and can't remember which ones are which.

Randy,

Here's a 6 cylinder P/S unit on the motor, not a real good picture, but a start. I'll try to get a better picture later today when I get time. Lots going on this morning, there's a break in the weather so I'm going to try and get a cabinet delivered.

Here is a pic of some that I have,got 1 set out of a van and the other out of a firebird,both had 250 6 cyl.I have not checked to see if they will fit our trucks or not.
I modified an identical set of brackets to fit my 292,the 292 and 250 brackets are not the same.

Something dont look right in the pics so far... the PS bracket has a slot in the bottom so you can tighten the generator. Most I have seen use a two groove pulley system up top on water pump and run two belts.

Dusti shows pics of a bracket with the lower groove..but those brackets are from a newer 6 cyl and has the bolts further apart on the top and wouldn't fit our years of cylinder heads.
