New shoes today!
Is there any better feeling that getting new shoes? Well, maybe...
Anyways, old tires were 17 years old, dry rotted and cheap when they were new. Put on some BF Goodrich Radial T/A's today. 255-70-15, same size as old tires.

Re: New shoes today!
Nice shoes! I bought a set a few years ago that are probably aging out of safe usefulness, based on the established/assumed 5 year life. I'm considering selling them soon, so that someone can wear them out before they die a natural death.

Re: New shoes today!
Must have been new shoe day. Just got these today myself. Went with 255/70-15 as well.
Been working on this truck for two years coming May. Hope to have it on the road by the two year mark. Won’t have a slick paint job but it will be mobile.

Re: New shoes today!
Man, those BFG Radial TA tires are getting asspensive! I have used Cooper Cobra Radial GT tires on my last 2 trucks.

Thanks, Jim. Finished up the power brake/front disc install over the weekend as well. Now to filling and bleeding to find all my leaks.

Re: New shoes today!
Miss new shoes thread!
I got new 275/60 15 all around, plus the spear from the local Discount Tire store and I also installed my new KBY shocks right after that! The tires I had before were also BFG that were just shy of 10 years old from the date stamp. Though they were "GT" and not T/A like they have now. I kind of like the "GT" lettering for "cool factor". LOL I love how these rims/tires look. I know a lot of guys like lowering these trucks - personally I like the stock way it sets. I am pretty sure its higher now with the new shocks!
