Why didn’t I get this sooner

Build the shop in 2008. 1,200 square feet. Added heat, central ac, full woodshop and cable tv
I should have done this first! No more working on my back and once I vault the ceiling the c10 will go under the cougar which will be restored by this spring. bartered the lift for 1 small custom vanities and two laminate counters, good deal for both of us.
And the wife thought I spend too much time out here before!
Life is good

It’s a challenger 9,000 lb 4 post. I also have the Jack and slides on the track so you can pull the wheels

Re: Why didn’t I get this sooner

That would be great but first I would need a shop to put it in.

Very nice. How tall of a ceiling do you need to put one in?

Re: Why didn’t I get this sooner

.

Ohhhh yes! At one time I considered MaX JaX as a solution for a standard sized(height) garage/shop.

https://www.maxjax.com/maxjax/?gclid...waAmF4EALw_wcB

In the end decided against based on cost and overall functionality. I think the 4 post in this case wins.

Now I have a buddy that just installed a full size 9000 pound two post that I have access to whenever!

Re: Why didn’t I get this sooner

I'm dealing with a 9 ft ceiling, so I'm looking at this. Better than lying on my back! Comments?

Re: Why didn’t I get this sooner

Bought a "Worth" in 2000 when I started my 49 Chevy PU build, it has done 4 more builds since then and has made countless trips up and down...way too many to count.

That and my forklift are without a doubt were the best investments ever IMHO.

Re: Why didn’t I get this sooner

I said precisely the same thing (why didn't I do this sooner) after I finally bought and installed mine. I use it ALL the time. Heck, if nothing else, it's handy just for stacking cars with to free up more shop space.
