What is the different in 65 -66 wheel tubs and 67 -72 wheel tubs.

The arch and hole pattern is slightly different between the '60-'66 & the '67-up, so they are not a direct bolt-in and the horizontal flange does not have the raised areas to accept the wear strips, as on the '60-'66 Chevy/GMC tubs. I have purchased the '67-'72 inner wheel tubs, that are being sold as a good replacement, but they are not a good replacement and require some metalworking in order to make them fit and they do not have the same configuration on the inside exposed surface.

Similiar but different shape is all. later trucks had a crease in them that 65-66 did not. 66's are smoother and rounder
