I am also very interested....If you can, please get the details and pictures on what he did for the steering.
I knew of someone who lowered the crossmember but the steering geometry was off. They took two idler arms and placed a block of steel in between to make up the 3 inch difference, however to clear the crossmember it actually shortened the throw of the pitman arm, thus making the turning radius very short. (he couldn't make a 3 point turn, it was more like a 5 point turn) \
