Not necessarily.
ECE sells a 2.5" drop spindle,... like most other "direct fit" spindles.
The old Belltech 3" drop spindles cause more problems.
Either way,... trimming the lower control ares is almost a must, for
15" diameter wheels with
more than 3.5" of backspacing.
