One thing that always bothered me was one of my front turn signals was darker than the other side. Turns out, the inside plastic reflector never got enough 'plastic chrome' ... so using a heat gun, a razor blade, and some patience ... I cracked them open and used some chrome paint (never thought I would ever use that !
)

After paint cured ... gorilla glue and some clamps, over night ....
