Thanks for the bump fellas! I haven't given up. Life has had me distracted but I see the truck every single day and I'm still in love.
I sent those 52 year old heads in for the full-meal-deal and they're basically done. Have been for over a month or two. 7/16" screw in studs with guide plates, 2.02x1.60 swirl polished stainless valves (8mm LSX style), hard seats, full port and polish, unshrouded for the big valves. Trying to identify a beehive spring that will work with the cam I've picked out but draggin my feet.
