I changed the jets and metering rods in my Street Demon to a tighter tolerance recently to get better mileage and my plugs showed signs of too fuel. I went two sizes smaller (not good).
Boy did I go too tight for my engine, I could hardly get down the street. I then put the smaller metering rod back in and was able to drive it, but it wanted to go into passing gear too much (looking for more fuel) when I sped up, I mean way more than normal. Plugs are now dry though
Now today I receive the next higher rods and jets, 2 main and 2 secondaries (and gaskets). Should be the ticket. Should have gone one size lower to begin with, live and learn I guess.
And wouldn't you know it. Got the parts, they sent One Jet in a package that was supposed to have two in a pack. They are sending me out a new set today.
