Loosen the two back bolts and just slightly loosen the front bolts. That way the hinges will pivot on the front bolts. After tightening the bolts back up close the hood slowly the first time while checking the adjustment to make sure the hood doesn't hit anywhere. A lot easier to do with 2 people.
This does work for your problem....
