Re: Project Old Blue, 1965 C10, Rebuild Version 2010

Well I got some time to work on my project. Had to clean out the garage a little first. I got the shift kit and new filter installed in the trans before we left on our ski truip. Yesterday, I planned to get the engine and trans together so that I could put them in the frame. I got the new SFI flexplate and ARP bolts on the engine, the TCI converter is from years ago and is ready to install. Well, went to put the converter in the trans and realized I forgot to get the front seal at the parts store. So, that is where I stopped last night. I called this morning and the parts store is open today, so I will get back at it later today.

Flexplate installed on engine:

11" TCI Breakaway Converter ready to go in:

Hopefully I will post more later, we will see how today goes. I have a few things I must do around the house this weekend.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
