Not sure what cubic inch it will end up !! Maybe leave it maybe stroke it !! It's a 70 350 right now . Building the short block for a 144 or177 blower . Won't be able to afford the blower right away so it will be a carb motor for a while . The last motor broke the piggy bank so I'm kinda on a low budget . I do have a lotta parts though. I also still have the org. 327 large journal that came in the truck. I may build it for the blower and use this motor to get me driving . I still have a few tricks up my sleeve so this one should run pretty hard !! Bob

Re: Junk Yard Dog

Clean it up a little, toss your heads on & blast it chevy orange. After some summer cruising, build the blower motor. Dont want it to sit too long, pretty soon it will think it is supposed to just sit in the garage. I know, I dont have much room to talk!

That's probably pretty close to what will happen . It has a real nice standard bore and rotating assembly . So new cam and a few other goodies and presto a polished turd !!! Bob
